What better way to honor our soldiers fighting for our country than with a lawn goose dressed like Uncle Sam. My nephew is currently serving in Afghanstan and going to miss his first child being born. He is fighting for our country while missing out on so much in his own home. But yet, he has no regrets about doing so. I am very proud of him and was just recently promoted to Corporal. Love you Adam……

I am very excited. My sister and I are going to start doing craft shows together again this Fall. We use to do them before to make some money but now, we will be doing them for fun. She does a lot of sewing and does an awesome job. Her sewing projects are so fantastic and a pleasure to look at. I of course, will be crocheting. Bought my Goose model a few days ago. A Goose model you ask? That is a plastic lawn goose that you can put in your yard or let look out your window. I make a many outfits so come back later to see the styles. I also take orders on Goose outfits.

What a Sunday today was. Such a drag. Should have done a lot of crocheting but just didn’t have the energy. So today the kids went to the mall and to eat with their aunt. They were gone for about 5 hours which would have made this a perfect day to do something but, just no energy. Did get to make a video of Miss Molly Morgan chasing her tail though. She is just way too cute.

So today is the first day of 2013 and I just want to say that I know this year will be a good one. I am starting this blog to share my passion which is crocheting and crafts. I have been crocheting since the age of 10 so it’s safe to say that I’ve been doing this most of my life. (over 40 yrs)
